The Home cares for elderly people, providing a level of care which is tailored to each individual’s need. We are not a nursing home; we do however have full support services from local GPs and District nurses.
Jonathan Lobb (the owner) has spent most of his life building large businesses and brands all over the world, mostly in the software industry. On leaving the industry, he wanted to do something that would really make a difference and looked at the care sector, how it was run and how he could apply his dedication and passion to make it great. Having grown up in a family hotel business he understood what great service is and can be.
“When we bought Somerforde, it had a good reputation and a beautiful location, situated on the edge of Forde Park. We have recently carried out a major internal and external revamp of the entire building to provide a wonderful environment.
We have focused on our approach to care using the latest technology available. Besides this, we are proud of our food and entertainment and ensuring that our focus is on the individual needs of each of our residents and providing an excellent home environment”
